  • 1 Initial concept board to review

  • 1 Final room design- includes room layout/space planning, selection of furniture, decor items (wall art, pillows, rugs, lighting), ready-made drapes or window shades, paint colour recommendations as needed.

  • Itemized floor plan

  • Product shopping list with links

  • How-to guide with designer notes for completing your space

  • 6 Weeks of post-design support

Who is this service for?

Our eDesign services are a fun and affordable way to have a professional involved in designing your space without the cost of a full-service interior design project. EDesign is perfect for:

  • Someone who is furnishing a new house and doesn’t know where to start.

  • Those who are wanting a new look for their space, but want to use some of their existing pieces to stay within budget.

  • Young professionals wanting to upgrade from their college or hand-me-down pieces and need a plan for how to approach their space.

With eDesign, once you have your final presentation and shopping list in hand, the next steps are up to you. You can buy everything online at once, or use it as a jumping off point and find similar pieces yourself over time as your budget allows.

How much work do I need to do?

One of the biggest differences between full-service design and eDesign is the amount of work that you (the client) need to do. On the plus side, this is what makes eDesign more affordable! At the beginning of the project, plan to spend 2-4 hours completing the questionnaire, taking photographs and submitting your room measurements. Once you receive your completed design, you will also be responsible for ordering products and any installation/implementation.

How long does it take for me to get my final design?

After completing your questionnaire and sending us your measurements and photos, we’ll email our initial concept boards to you for review within 1-2 weeks. We ask that you provide us with your comments and any revision within 2 weeks, and then you’lll receive your final presentation in another 1-2 weeks. On average, the entire process takes 4-6 weeks.

Are there any extra costs or hidden fees in this process?

No. Our flat fee package pricing includes all the deliverables in the product listing . If after receiving your design questionnaire and room measurements we determine that your project is too large for the scope of the package process, we’ll message you to discuss other options and/or offer a full refund of the package price.

Your final shopping list may contain affiliate links, which means we earn a small commission if you purchase that item at no additional cost to you. Please know that we only recommend products that we know and love, and commission from affiliate links helps us to keep our design fees low.

Do you suggest paint colours as part of the package?
Absolutely. Because we’re not able to see what a colour looks like directly on the wall, we'll recommend 2-3 paint colours for you to test in your space. 

What kind of budgets do you work with?

All types! We’ll ask about your budget in our design questionnaire and work to make your dollars go as far as possible.

Do I need to be Canadian to use your eDesign services?

While Homeday Interiors is located in Ontario Canada, we serve clients across Canada and the USA. We’ll ensure that the products recommended are available where you live.

Is there anything your eDesign services doesn’t include?

Please see the listing above for the deliverable included in each package. At this time, 3D renders and eDesign for kitchens are not included in standard packages. 

Detailed room styling accessories for bookshelves and table tops are not included in our standard packages, but we will include general styling advice in your final presentation. Custom furniture and custom window treatment selection/design is also not included. 3D renders and full bookshelf styling with an itemized shopping list is available for an additional cost- please contact us for a quote.
